London Underground Poster Urges People Not to Commit Suicide...

A new Tube poster campaign is causing controversy as it urges users of the service not to commit suicide on the lines. The poster, which depicts a prescription bottle with some pills spilling out is captioned with the message Kill Yourself at Home whilst a subtitle on one of the posters suggests that taking a pill to commit suicide rather than jumping in front of a train will benefit drivers and passengers.

'Why jump when it's easier to swallow? Our customers and drivers will thank you for it.'

The campaign from the Mayor of London and Transport for London has seen various reactions from the public. A number of parodies have appeared online as well as the poster sparking up many debates on social media.
