Coming Soon//Björk - 'Bastards' Remix Album.

When the eighth volume of the Biophilia Remix Series was delayed earlier this year we wondered what was going on. It seems that as well as the final volume we're getting an album as well! With thirteen tracks it takes in remixes from across the Crystalline vinyl releases and Biophilia Remix Series and creates a curated collection that Björk describes "the essence of the remixes".

Inevitably, some are going to say cash in but with the quality of work on offer it's a chance to listen to the music without flicking digital files about in frenzied abandon. We've enjoyed the series and have found it to be the artists' most refreshing work for a long while. Featuring collaborations with S.R.C. Online Culture Zine favorites Death Grips, Omar Souleyman, Current Value and oft collaborator Matthew Herbert it's an excellent listen what ever the forums will inevitably say about it's marketing.
