Just released from London band GREAT HEAT is the single Laid Bare. We took a listen and lay our thoughts bare below!
With a psychedelia inspired sound that pulls the listener in with an ease not unlike coffee to a music journalist this single from the Great Heat is easily likable. The kraut like intro segues into a minimalist bass and vocal, with the minimal vocals bringing in the psychedelic streak we grabbed onto on first listen. if there were more lyrics on this track a considerable amount of mystery would be lost but thankfully there isn't and the band deliver a reverb streaked single that will appeal to all who like their music melodic yet mysterious.
