Coffee & Creatives #6: The Kut
When
we were scouting "victims" (willing, of course!) for our Coffee and Creatives Interview sessions Argonaut, another
band whom we questioned previously
suggested that The Kut might be interested in taking part
because, and I quote, "they smoke coffee". Needless to say we were
intrigued and The Kut didn't disappoint. Maha from the band
spilled the beans...
.
What influence has coffee had on your
work?
Haha, excellent - well Coffee and music go hand in hand.
Mainly because of all the late nights. We need coffee to just keep going. In many forms, we've drank it, smoked it,
smelt it and it helps to keep the brain flowing.
What's your best experience with coffee?
Hm,
wow, I'm having the best experience of coffee right now - every coffee is the
best coffee.
What's the best coffee you've ever had?
Nespresso,
I am a big coffee addict and my sister got me a coffee machine for Christmas. I
was so happy that I almost cried - to know that someone knows me so well!
What, if any, link is there for you between coffee and
culture?
I
think the best link is that we are all very short of sleep. We burn the candle
at both ends and coffee helps us to fight through on a daily basis. How else
would we be able to fight the hangovers and late nights?
