Following the band
enforced break of Tokyo Jihen in 2012 many asked the question of just what
Shiina Ringo would do next. The answer, of course, is what she’s best at. That
is – left field music that sticks to the ear like nothing else. As Tokyo Jihen
got increasingly more J-Pop orientated many were thinking she’d lost the
oft-quoted “edge” but on the basis of this single to celebrate the return to
her solo career just in time for its 15th anniversary the edge is still
