Darkly joyful whistling, harmonies and Mexican brass serenades all hit the listener in the four minutes of Mexican Wedding and that’s a good thing. Amsterdam based band Eckhardt and the House impress with this ear pricking melange of styles and it’s such a smooth yet potential modern spaghetti western soundtrack extract you can’t help but love it. Close your eyes and you could almost imagine standing in a ranch town getting ready to draw your shooting irons whilst Quentin Tarantino shouts at you from behind a movie camera.
