MixTape // February 2014: Love and Hate Songs

What is love? It’s a question that has been asked by many people. We have a vague idea of its intentions, what it means to us and what we get from it but what is it really? The thing is, you can’t quantify it in any well meaning way. There are some who say it’s a chemical reaction in the brain and some who it is an unavoidable part of life. Just one point on the emotional spectrum from Like and Dislike or good or bad. That’s why it’s one of every songwriter’s most prized inspirations. Here we collect some songs that register on many spectrums of either love or hate, the majority submitted by the bands in accordance with the theme. As usual, there is also one of our current favourite artists included too as well!
