Single Review//Liz Lawrence - Bedroom Hero

There's a saying that silence is golden but true gold should surely never be bashful in it's intentions. This is the case with Liz Lawrence, whose new single Bedroom Hero is out on November 26th.

The combination of Lawrence's  spellbinding voice and delicate guitar chords is a subtle one but it sails along in manner that is never less than enthralling. By sheer coincidence, we witnessed her supporting folk legend Ani Di Franco one time and were very impressed with her presence thus hearing Bedroom Hero was a real treat.

The imagery of the title is one that suggests an urgent quest, but in reality it's a quiet urgency that informs the song as it rolls along on waves of understated melody.
