career of The Space Lady is something special and September 30th
sees her first official release on any format with 7” and digital downloads of
Major Tom available via NIGHT SCHOOL.
The song is steeped
in the lo-fi experimentation that is ever on trend and as a first release it’s
an excellent one. The whirling casio digital production brings a unique charm
to the track and you genuinely can’t help but get sucked into the world of this
fascinating artist. The songs content is all too cosmic and that is only a good
thing –the song sounds like a lost recording from decades ago and in a sense that
is exactly what it is. Sonic time capsules rarely sound better than this!
