Music Review // Robbie Boyd – Brave

There’s something distinctly ear catching about this new single from Robbie Boyd. Brave is a risky title for a song, a word coming with much meaning and weight, but he pulls it off with a performance that convinces.

Any song with a folk base can risk sounding lighter than it perhaps should be, unadulterated by the ever creeping darkness  of the supposed ‘cooler’ world, but with a sense of timing, (the song clocks in just over three minutes) and the highly positive message of the song coming over via a heartfelt performance the song does its job amply.
