#SRCZ Live // Creative Watch Area (Volume 2): Jim Pearson Official Album Launch

The second edition of #SRCZ’s exciting new event series Creative Watch Area arrives on May 29th to the beautiful intimate venue of Wirral Arts Centre, West Kirby, Wirral.

Jim Pearson will launch his fifth album It Might Never Happen as our headline artist and if you haven’t seen our review of the album yet then make sure to read it here. The Merseyside based singer-songwriter is known for his catchy songs with intellectually tuned lyrics that have the ability to make the listener both think and smile at the subtle references simultaneously.

Joining him on the evening will be local favourites Coast with their trademark folk influenced acoustic pop and locally known solo artist Steve Wale with a set that is sure to impress. The music element is tempered with an appearance from up and coming (and in demand) storyteller Andy Johnson, bringing some edgier than usual tales to warm up the evening. Compere for the evening will be the irrepressible Mr Creaky Bones bringing some of his trademark humour to an evening that will surely be one to remember!

Wirral Arts Centre is just five minutes from West Kirby Station and can be found half way down Brookfield Road. It is a former church and is a charming local ‘hidden gem’ venue with good acoustics and a welcoming feel. A licensed bar will be in place on the night.

Tickets are just £5 and can be purchased on the night. Doors open at 7pm with music from 7:30pm. Curfew is 1opm.
